  • Fatigue management and energy conservation
  • Community access and participation
  • Falls prevention and safety strategies

Our therapy is practical, goal-focused, and delivered in your home or community environment where it matters most.

We complete detailed assessments and reports to support your NDIS journey.

This may include:

  • Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA)
  • Assistive Technology reports
  • Home Modification assessments
  • Progress reports and plan review reports

All reports are written in clear, NDIS-aligned language to support funding approvals and demonstrate your needs.

Assistive Technology (AT) Prescription

Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living)

Assistive Technology (AT) Prescription

We assess, trial, and prescribe equipment to support your independence and safety.

Examples include:

  • Mobility aids (walkers, wheelchairs)
  • Pressure care equipment
  • Shower chairs and bathroom equipment
  • Daily living aids (reachers, adaptive cutlery, dressing aids)
  • Seating and positioning supports

Assistive technology can help you do tasks more safely, reduce reliance on others, and improve quality of life.

Minor Home Modifications

Upper Limb & Functional Retraining

Assistive Technology (AT) Prescription

Home modifications are custom changes to your home to help you move around safely and complete daily tasks.

Minor home modifications (generally under $20,000) may include:

  • Grab rails and handrails
  • Ramps and step modifications
  • Bathroom safety changes
  • Doorway widening
  • Environmental adjustments

All home modifications require an occupational therapy assessment and clinical justification to be approved by the NDIS.

We guide you through the entire process — from assessment to recommendations and liaising with builders or providers.

Upper Limb & Functional Retraining

Upper Limb & Functional Retraining

Upper Limb & Functional Retraining

We provide targeted therapy to support recovery and improved function of the arms and hands, helping you regain independence in everyday activities.

Difficulties with upper limb function can impact tasks such as dressing, eating, writing, and using everyday items. Our therapy focuses on functional, meaningful activities to build strength, coordination, and confidence.

We support:

  • Strength and endurance of the arms and hands
  • Fine motor skills (grip, coordination, dexterity)
  • Range of movement and joint mobility
  • Bilateral coordination (using both hands together)
  • Functional hand use for daily activities

Our approach includes:

  • Task-specific training (real-life activities)
  • Repetition to support motor learning
  • Graded strengthening and coordination programs
  • Adaptive strategies and equipment
  • Individualised home programs

We aim to support improved independence, reduced effort with tasks, and greater confidence in everyday life.
